Truer words were never spoken and the city of Emerald Cove is learning that lesson all too well. Christina Samuels has recently moved in with her Uncle and Aunt to her parents’ hometown to attend the prestigious Cyprus-Gray University. She came to continue the tradition long lived in her family but what she got was something much different.
Since returning, strange things have been happening. And what’s even more bizarre is the behavior of the townsfolk and investigators. Unwittingly Christina has landed herself in the middle of a town secret that goes back for years and a rash of murders that seemed to start just as she came home.
There is a monster hidden within the normally sleepy village. Can they discover who among them is the beast before it strikes again? Or will they all soon fall prey to The Animal?
